1. The service
Purchase Board lets a requester create a purchase request, share it with voters, and record the result. It is an organizational and opinion-gathering tool, not a bank, payment service, financial adviser, or guarantee that a purchase is appropriate.
Voting results reflect the people who voted and the rule selected for that board. They are not professional advice and do not replace your own judgment.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for protecting access to your account and voting links. If you use Google sign-in, you authorize the relevant authentication flow to identify you and create or access your Purchase Board account.
A guest session is tied to its browser. If you lose that browser session before adding an email address, you may lose access to the records created in it.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the requests, images, comments, names, and other material you submit. You give Purchase Board the limited permission needed to host, display, transmit, and process that material so the service can work for you and the voters you invite.
Do not submit content you do not have the right to use, or personal information that you do not have a valid reason to share with the invited voters.
4. Voting links
Private voting links function like credentials. You are responsible for sending each link to the intended voter and for anyone you allow to access it. Do not attempt to guess, scrape, intercept, or use another person's link without permission.
A requester may see the final result, while individual votes can remain hidden until the board reaches a decision. The service's behavior depends on the board rule and the information supplied by its users.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break the law, harass or impersonate another person, distribute malware or abusive content, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, evade access controls, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or overload it with automated requests.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties, or to comply with law.
6. Closing an account
You can close your account from Account settings. Account closure may permanently remove the boards and requests you filed. We may retain limited information where required by law, needed to prevent abuse, or held in routine backups for a limited period.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that a vote will lead to a particular purchase outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Purchase Board is not responsible for losses caused by a user's decisions, a shared link being disclosed, a provider outage, or information supplied by another user.
8. Changes and contact
We may change these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a revised version is published means you accept the updated terms. For questions about these terms, contact the operator through the contact channel provided with this deployment.
